Admission Process

Neumind admissions efforts are aimed at finding students who will thrive in our learning environment. We seek students of diverse backgrounds who will add to the fabric of Neumind and who can excel within our programme. In considering an applicant for admission, we take into account many factors: an individual's talents and academic skills, motivation towards learning, social skills, personal qualities of character, and commitment of the family to the educational philosophy of the school.

We invite you to visit Neumind. It is the best way to understand us. We offer previews to learn more about Neumind. Please call the office at 65 – 6451 8330 to schedule a visit.

Attendance

Students are expected to be in class unless they are ill or have a medical appointment. Parents need to inform the school of all absences in advance whenever possible. Students are responsible for asking their teachers for missed assignments and completing any required work. We shall not guarantee a replacement of make-up lesson.

Illness/ Medical Leave

If your child has a runny nose, a bad cough, or is contagious, we ask that you keep your child at home and allow him or her to rest. If you believe that an exception is called for, please send a note to this effect, and your child will be allowed to remain inside the building.

Extended Travel

If you are planning an extended trip, please consult the faculty prior to making travel arrangements. This helps ensure the continuity of your child’s education and assists in overall classroom planning.

Medications

If your child requires medication at school, medicine should be brought to the school office, where it will be kept for the day. A signed note from parents should accompany the medications, including directions for dispensing. Over-the-counter drugs, such as Tylenol, will only be dispensed with written permission from a parent.
