The largest archaeological excavation ever mounted in Singapore uncovered some 3.5 tonnes of artefacts from the area just next to the Asian Civilisations Museum.
This exhibition of 30 photographs and commentaries, captured over 100 days of excavation from the photographer and archaeologists, takes you back to the historic event.
Contextualising the site, the excavation and the finds, archaeologists from the dig reflect on the nature of their work. Images and commentaries, at times conflicting, portray this valiant effort into saving the unknown and the forgotten past.
